Handmade Beads and Jewelry

ARE THERE VARIATIONS IN COLOR?

The actual color of lampwork glass jewelry and other jewelry may vary from what you see on your computer.  It could be a variation in the color shown by our monitors, or it could be the lack of a good photograph.  (I said I was a lampworker, not a photographer!)
If a picture appears not to represent the actual color of the item, I’ll do my best to describe that variation in the details of each product.   

ARE THERE COLOR VARIATIONS IN HANDMADE BEADS?

As with all handmade items, each lampwork bead is one of a kind and though similar, will vary from bead to bead.  Though the size and color of each bead will remain mostly uniform, there will be some variation from the items pictured.  Also, the actual color may appear different on your computer.  

WILL I RECEIVE THE EXACT ITEM PICTURED?

As each bead is unique and one of a kind, so are all of the jewelry pieces and thus the picture is a representation of the item which you will receive.  In some instances, the difference is minuscule; in other instances, I may have chosen a different toggle clasp or a different Bali-style bead than is shown in the picture.  All materials will be of the same high quality style and size shown, but may vary in some of the finer details.

Orders and Returns

DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

You do not need to create an account to place an order; you may select guest checkout.  I  like to create accounts when making online purchases so at a later date, I can see my order history.  Creating an account is your choice.  Your personal data will be used to support your experience throughout this website, to manage access to your account and to process your order.

HOW CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

If you’d like to cancel or change your order, please send an email to [email protected] and indicate ‘cancel order’ or ‘change order’ on the Subject line.  If the item(s) has not been shipped, I will cancel the payment.  If the item(s) has been shipped, your payment will be refunded upon return of the item(s).

HOW CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT?

I want all of my customers to be pleased with their purchases.  If for some reason you would like to return an item, please send an email to [email protected] and I will make arrangements for the return.  The cost of shipping for a returned item(s) is the responsibility of the customer; or the returned item(s) may be returned to Pizazz at no cost for shipping.  The possibility of a refund for a custom item will be determined on a case by case basis.

Shipping Information

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?

There are three methods available to receive your order;  First Class mail, Priority Mail or Pick Up at Pizazz.

WHAT WILL IT COST TO SHIP MY ORDER?

First Class mail service begins at $5.00 per package with a maximum shipping charge of $8.00 for First Class mail service.  Priority Mail service is $7.90 for a small flat rate box and there is no shipping charge for Pick Up at Pizazz.  

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?

This depends on the piece or pieces you have ordered and the method of shipment you’ve chosen.  As a rule of thumb, lampwork glass pieces are created when the order is placed and would be shipped no sooner than the third business day.  Items not custom made and in stock would be shipped within two business days.  

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Your order will be assigned its own order number.  You can use this number on the Order Tracking page to track your order.  Please also see HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER? 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

International shipping would be determined and priced on a case by case basis.  If you are international, use Pick Up at Pizazz to place your order and indicate your need for international shipping in the comments section.

Payment Information

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

I use Square to process my online credit card transactions.  Square accepts Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express.  

IS BUYING ON-LINE SAFE?

My site uses an SSL certificate for on-line purchasing safety.  Please notice the padlock symbol in the address line of my site; a sign of a website using an SSL certificate.

Wrist Measurement and Bracelet Size

HOW DO I MEASURE MY WRIST?

Measure your wrist around the wrist bone using a flexible measuring tape, holding the tape snug but not tight.  This is your wrist measurement.  As an alternative, you could wrap a string or ribbon around your wrist and measure the resulting length with a ruler.  

WHAT BRACELET LENGTH SHOULD I ORDER?

A general recommendation for sizing an adult bracelet is to add 3/4-inch to the wrist measurement to determine the bracelet length.  If you have a bracelet similar in scale that fits well, measure that bracelet to determine your bracelet length.  If you are ordering a Noodle bracelet, add only 1/2-inch to the wrist measurement.  

IF THE BEADS ARE LARGER, WHAT BRACELET LENGTH SHOULD I ORDER?

A general recommendation is to add 1 to 1-1/2 inches to your wrist measurement to determine your bracelet length if the bracelet is made with larger, bulkier beads.  If you have a bracelet similar in scale that fits well, measure that bracelet to determine you’re bracelet length. 

WHAT BRACELET LENGTH SHOULD I ORDER FOR A CHILD?

A general recommendation for sizing a child’s bracelet is to add 1/2-inch to the wrist measurement to determine the bracelet length.  An extender chain will be added to the end of the bracelet to allow the bracelet to grow with the child.  

Repairs

MY 10-YEAR OLD BRACELET NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED!

I will gladly make repairs to any item purchased from me; whether it has been 10 years or 10 days.

Mail your item to me at my studio or to Pizazz, or drop off the item at Pizazz.  Be sure to include your name, address and contact information whether mailing or dropping.  Repair times will vary.

DO YOU REPAIR JEWELRY MADE BY OTHERS?

I’m happy to look at another piece of jewelry which needs to be repaired.  You could text or email a photo or drop off the item at Pizazz.
